CBSE is going to conduct the essay-writing competitions in all its affiliated schools in New Delhi, from January 23 to January 28, to commemorate the birth anniversaries of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose and Lala Lajpat Rai on January 23 and January 28, respectively.
The students of class 5 to class 7 have been proposed to put their volunteer participation.
According to the CBSE guidelines, to know about the topics for the respective competition the students would have to visit the board’s official site, ‘cbseacademic.in’ on Monday.
The essay can be written in any of the scheduled 22 languages or in English too, with the world limit for an essay to be about 500 words exceeding which will lead to the cancellation of the entry.
Every School will have to send its best five entries to the CBSE on January 29 from 9am to 9pm, by online mode using the links that will be made available on the same date on the CBSE official site.
After the plagiarism check, the 36 best entries from all over the country will be rewarded with a cash prize of Rs 2,500 along with a certificate of excellence to the winners.
