Common Admission Test (CAT) 2014 by Indian Institute of Management (IIM)
for admission to Post Graduate Programmes in Management in seven IIM’s
across India
(Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Kolkotta, Kozhikode, Lucknow, Indore, Shillong).

Eligibility for the test:
· Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized Indian university, with at least 50% marks
or equivalent CGPA.
· The Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification must entail a minimum of
three years of education after completing higher secondary schooling
(10+2) or equivalent.
· Candidates appearing for the final year of bachelor’s degree/equivalent
qualification examination and those who have completed degree requirement
and are awaiting results can also apply.
More about the exam: This is a 300 marks exam, consists of a total 75 questions,
and the duration of this exam is two and a half hours.

Scoring Scheme: There will be three sections with 25 questions in each section,
where each question will be of 4 marks. Wrong answers carry negative marking.

Chennai, Coimbatore, Delhi, Gurgaon, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Indore, Jaipur,
Jamshedpur, Kolkata, Kozhikode, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, Noida,
Patna, Pune and Varanasi.
Important!: the CAT scores are also considered by many non IIM institutes
for admission to their courses.
