Exam Pattern Details: Civil Services Exam Consists of 2 Stages.
I. Preliminary Examination (Objective Type) 
II. Main Examination (Written and Interview)

I. Preliminary Examination: The Examination shall comprise two compulsory papers of 200 marks each.
(i) Both the question papers will be of the objective type (multiple choice questions).
(ii) The question papers will be set both in Hindi and English. However, questions relating to English Language Comprehension skills of Class X level will be tested through passages from English Language only without providing Hindi translation thereof in the question paper.
(iii) Each paper will be of two hours duration. Blind candidates will however; be allowed an extra time of twenty minutes at each paper

NOTE: 
1. The questions on English Language Comprehension skills (of Class X level) contained in each set of Test Booklets of Paper-II are not to be attempted as these questions shall not be evaluated for gradation or merit. The Candidates are, therefore, advised not to attempt questions on English Language Comprehension skills for which Hindi translation has not been given in the respective Test Booklets of Paper-II.
2. The Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination, 2014, shall thus comprise of two compulsory papers of which Paper-I will  be of 200 marks and Paper II will be of 200 marks minus the maximum marks allocated to the questions on English  Language Comprehension skills.
3. Final merit for qualifying the candidates for the Civil Services (Main) Written Examination will be drawn by using the aggregate marks obtained in Paper-I out of 200 marks and marks obtained in Paper-II out of 200 marks minus  the maximum marks allocated to the questions on English Language Comprehension skills (i.e. those questions in Paper-II for which Hindi translation has not been given).

Note:
(i) The papers on Indian languages and English (Paper A and Paper B) will be of Matriculation or equivalent standard and will be of qualifying nature. The marks obtained in these papers will not be counted for ranking.
ii. The paper Al on Indian Language will not, however, be compulsory for candidate hailing from the States of Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland and Sikkim.
iii. Marks obtained by the candidates for the Paper-I-VII only will be counted for merit ranking. However, the Commission will have the discretion to fix qualifying marks in any or all of these papers.

Note:
i. The question papers for the examination will be of conventional (essay) type.
ii. Each paper will be of three hours duration.
iii. Candidates will have the option to answer all the question papers, except the qualifying language papers Paper -A and Paper-B, in any of the languages included in the Eighth schedule to the constitution of India or in English.
iv. The question papers (other than the literature of language papers) will be set in Hindi and English only.

2. Personality Test/Interview:  The maximum marks for interview is 275 marks. The candidate will be interviewed by a Board of competent and unbiased observers who will have before them a record of his/her career. The object of the Interview is to assess the personal suitability of the candidate for the Service. The candidate will be expected to have taken an intelligent interest not only in his/her subjects of academic study but also in events which are happening around him/her both within and outside his/her own state or country, as well as in modem currents of thoughts and in new discoveries which should rouse the curiosity of well educated youth.

Academic Excellence Scholarships (AES) for International Students in Australia, 2015

La Trobe University is offering academic excellence scholarships (AES) for pursuing undergraduate and postgraduate coursework programs. Applicants must be a citizen of a country other than Australia or New Zealand and be applying to start an undergraduate or postgraduate coursework program. They must also have scored 85% or equivalent in their previous degree/award, and meet English language and academic entry requirements. Scholarships are worth between $10,000 and $20,000 and are paid across a maximum of two semesters (or 12 months). The application deadlines are 5 December 2014 and 18 January 2015.

Diplomate of National Board Centralized Entrance Test 2015

DNB CET 2015 - National Board of Examinations (NBE) conducts Diplomate of National Board Centralized Entrance Test (DNB CET) twice a year for admission to various Post Graduate courses including Direct 6 year’s course in the specialty of Plastic-Surgery, Neuro-surgery, Cardiothoracic Surgery and Pediatric Surgery. The holders of Board’s qualification awarded after an examination i.e. DNB are eligible to be considered for specialist’s post/faculty in any Hospital including a training/teaching institution on a teaching post/as a faculty member. Diplomate National Board qualifications are well recognized and accepted as high standard specialist qualifications.

DNB CET 2015 will be conducted twice a year. The first session is in January and the second session is in the month of July. Students can take the DNB CET 2015 entrance exam in any of the session as per their choice.

DNB CET 2015 Eligibility: Important Highlights of DNB CET 2015 Eligibility Criteria are given below:
· Candidates who have MBBS degree/Provisional Pass Certificate recognized as  per the provisions of the Indian Medical Council. 
· Permanent / provisional registration certificate of MBBS qualification issued by the Medical Council of India and have completed one year of internship/likely to complete on or before January 31, 2015 (for January Session) and  July 31, 2015 (for July Session) are eligible for DNB CET 2015 exam.
· Candidates who are completing their internship after January 31, 2015 or  July 31, 2015 need not apply for the DNB CET 2015 exam as they shall be  ineligible to participate at any stage of the admission process.
· Candidates already pursuing a DNB course are not eligible to appear for the DNB CET 2015 till such time they have completed the entire duration of the prescribed course or have been discharged from the course.

DNB CET 2015 Exam Pattern: DNB CET 2015 exam will be a computer based test as per the syllabus prescribed by Graduate Medical Education Regulations with approval from Medical Council of India.  Read important points of DNB CET 2015 Exam Pattern given below:
· DNB CET 2015 entrance exam will be held online on scheduled date in two sessions (forenoon or afternoon).
· DNB CET 2015 exam will have 200 Multiple Choices Questions (MCQ), with single correct response.

· The weightage of MCQ’s in each specialty will vary and examination authority, NBE has right to amend the marks of the question.
· Negative marking: There will be no negative marking in DNB CET 2015.

DNB CET 2015 Application Procedure: The application procedure of DNB CET 2015 for January Session will begin tentatively in the first week of October 2014. While the DNB CET 2015 Application forms for July session will start in the month of April 2015. Candidates must note that to apply for DNB CET 2015 application form, they have to purchase information bulletin from the designated banks after paying the requisite fee. The DNB CET 2015 information bulletin will not be supplied separately; there is a composite voucher which includes the examination fee. While applying for DNB CET 2015 registration process candidates have to enter the fee voucher number (which will be underneath the scratch panel) the DNB CET 
website to begin the application process.

DNB CET 2015 Admit Card: The admit card of DNB CET 2015 will be generated at the end of DMB CET 2015 registration process. The DNB CET 2015 admit-card will be sent at the email id registered by the candidates. Candidates must bring print out of this DNB CET 2015 admit card cum confirmation slip. Candidate must affix a latest passport size photograph of the given specifications on the DNB CET 2015 admit card. Along with the admit card candidates must bring the specified documents and authorized photo IDs to the test centre otherwise they will not be allowed to take the test.

DNB CET 2015 Result: The DNB CET 2015 result will be declared as per the scheduled date mentioned in the prospectus. The result of only qualified candidates will be declared. The minimum qualifying marks of DNB CET 2015 for general category is 50 % score in the entrance exam. The validity of the result of the DNB CET shall be only for the given admission session in which candidate appeared. For example if candidate appeared for January 2014 admission session and their result cannot be carried forward for the next session of CET.

DNB CET 2015 Merit List:  The merit list of DNB CET 2015 will be based on the candidate’s performance in the DNB CET 2015 entrance exam.  DNB CET 2015 Merit List will be prepared only for those candidates who will secure the qualifying marks in the entrance exam.  To qualify the DNB CET 2015 unreserved category candidates must score 50 % of the total marks while for the SC/ST/OBC it is 40% and for Persons with Disability it is 45%.


DNB CET 2015 Selection Procedure: Candidates will be selected for Diplomate of National Board qualification in various disciplines and specialty of Plastic Surgery, Neuro-Surgery, Cardio-thoracic Surgery and Pediatric, Surgery etc. solely on the basis of rank in the DNB CET 2015 result. The DNB CET 2015 merit list will be prepared only for those candidates who will secure the qualifying marks in the entrance test. Allotment of 50% All India quota seats will be done through centralized DNB CET 2015 online counselling.

DNB CET 2015 Counselling:  The centralized online counselling of DNB CET 2015 will be done only for the qualified candidates. The allocation of seats for Diploma courses in various Colleges/ Institutions/Hospitals in India will be done strictly on merit cum choice basis. Candidate pursuing any other post graduate medical course can join a DNB Courses only after they resign from such course. Seat allotment letter to such candidates shall be issued by NBE (within the calendar of admission) only if the candidates has been relieved and discharged from the institution/University from where they are pursuing such post graduate medical course.

All India Post Graduate Medical Entrance Examination – 2015

AIPGMEE 2015 - National Board of Examinations (NBE) will conduct AIPGMEE 2015 entrance examination for admission to 50% All India quota seats of MD/MS/ Diploma, in various Government medical colleges of India except PG Medical Colleges of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Jammu & Kashmir. According to officials, 9 states of India will participate in AIPGMEE 2015 for admission against MD/MS/Diploma in their respective Government Medical Colleges. 

NBE has been notified by Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India to conduct AIPGMEE 2015. In AIPGMEE 2014, a total of 70,073 appeared and 30,495 candidates qualified to participate in online counseling for approx 5500  seats.

AIPGMEE 2015 Application Procedure: The application procedure of AIPGMEE 2015 will begin from August 29, 2015. Candidate must note that AIPGMEE 2015 application form must be submitted online. It must be noted that offline applications or printed copies will not be accepted.  The fee can be remitted through payment gateway provided using a Credit or Debit card issued by any banks in India. The Cost of AIPGMEE 2015 application fee is Rs. 3750 for General and/OBC Candidates and Rs.2750 for SC/ST/PWD candidates.

AIPGMEE 2015 Admit Card: Candidates whose application will be accepted can download AIPGMEE 2015 admit card a week before the AIPGMEE 2015 exam. The admit will have the candidate’s detail like name, roll number, exam center, time and examination instructions.

AIPGMEE 2015 Result: The AIPGMEE 2015 result will be declared in last week of January 2015. The result of only qualified candidates will be declared. The qualifying mark is 50% for General candidates and 40 % in case of OBC/SC/ST category.
  
AIPGMEE 2015 Merit List: AIPGMEE 2015 merit list for All India 50% Quota will be based on the candidates score in the AIPGMEE 2015 entrance exam. AIPGMEE 2015 merit list will be prepared only for those candidates who will secure the qualifying marks in the entrance exam. The merit list of each category will consist of total of five times of number of seats available for allotment.
